Collegiate athletes and weekend warriors have a new option for tending to the injuries that can come from a long season or an intense pickup game. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine has opened a new sports medicine clinic at UAB Highlands Hospital targeted at college-age and older athletes.
