ACL Reconstruction
I unfortunately tore my ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) last year. I visited with our team surgeon, Dr. Momaya, who is well known for his care of soccer athletes. He was professional, thorough, and down to earth. He recommended a patellar tendon autograft and lateral extra-articular iliotibial band tenodesis (LET). He also took the time to speak with my mom who came for the surgery. My recovery went well and he genuinely cared about getting me back to playing collegiate soccer, which I am happily doing now 11 months post-op. I am back now stronger than ever. I highly recommend Dr. Momaya and his team for any soccer athlete with an injury. Thank you!
