ACL Surgery
Kylee unfortunately tore her ACL while playing basketball. She consulted with Dr. Momaya, chief of sports medicine at UAB, who performed an ACL reconstruction with quadriceps tendon autograft in addition to lateral extra-articular iliotibial band tenodesis. She was able to make a successful comeback to collegiate basketball at UAB.
