Patella Stabilization with Cartilage Restoration
Lauren Mohler is a collegiate beach volleyball athlete. She unfortunately sustained a patella dislocation with a large cartilage defect. Lauren consulted with Dr. Momaya, orthopedic surgeon and Chief of Sports Medicine at UAB. She underwent MPFL reconstruction with cartilage restoration. She was able to make a terrific comeback to high-level volleyball.
