Foot Fracture Fifth Metatarsal Screw Fixation
Tracey sustained a stress fracture of her fifth metatarsal in her foot. Despite conservative treatment, she continued to have pain and limitations. She decided to pursue surgery with Dr. Momaya, who performed fifth metatarsal screw fixation. The bone healed in a timely fashion and she was able to make a full comeback to collegiate basketball at UAB.
